A lot of white board space

by Mac on November 4th, 2009

Don’t you love white boards? They get the creative juices flowing and get you up and out of your seat to work through a problem, do a little brainstorming or just a quick game of tick-tac-toe.

Yesterday during our early morning news interview we blurted out that we thought we had over 5,000 sq/ft of whiteboard space….Yeah, seemed a little ridiculous at the time, but it was super early and we weren’t through a full cup of coffee yet, so cut us a break.

Well this morning I came in with my trusty-dusty tape measure and decided to see what the actual count was. I did a quick count and a little measure and this is what I came up with

We have:

  • 7 – 2×4′ wheel around boards
  • 6 – 4×4′ wheel around boards
  • 4 – 8×4′ Wall hung boards

For those of you counting at home, that’s a total of 17 white boards totaling out at 280 sq/ft. So I guess we were a bit far off, but hey, that’s still a lot of space to draw!

So if you need to get some brainstorming done, or just want to draw us a nice picture. Drop by and make use of these awesome tools.

That's really disappointing. I was really hoping you had 5,000 sq/ft. I need a place to track all of my terrible ideas.
